Designing Digital Experiences
that Drive Impact

Hi, I’m Siviwe Scwebu, a Product Designer with the heart of an artist and the mind of a strategist. I design digital experiences that are not only useful, but meaningful—blending business thinking, human insight, and visual clarity to solve real problems. With a background in multimedia design, product management, and business analysis, I’m comfortable taking a product from napkin sketch to launch single‑handedly, if needed (yes, really).

But here’s the twist: I’m not just a designer. I’ve been immersed in art and design since I was 15 years, and when I’m not wireframing or building user flows, I’m editing videos, producing music, or DJing deep house sets by night. Currently studying data science (because why not?), I’m building towards products that don’t just look good, they think smart too.

A product designer who can edit motion, understand data, and spin at your event? Call it what you want — I just call it passion.

My Work

Design is more than just a process; it’s about creating meaningful connections between people and the products that serve them.

About Me

I create digital products that are not only beautiful but effective. With experience across South Africa’s top financial institutions, my work focuses on harmonising user needs with business objectives. I call this approach The S Effect — a blend of Strategy, Simplicity, and Seamless Execution.

What drives me is purpose: building products that matter and are rooted in deep research, refined design systems, and a solid understanding of the people they serve.

“My work is a conversation between empathy and functionality. Every product I design is meant to serve, solve, and scale.”

My Skillsets

Translating business goals and OKRs into product/UX roadmaps. Opportunity sizing, problem framing, value proposition design.
Mixed-method research, usability testing, synthesis and insight storytelling to inform strategic decisions.
High-fidelity UI, prototyping, motion principles, and design system contribution for scalable patterns.
Component libraries, workflow optimisation, and governance that keeps teams aligned and shipping faster.
Requirements elicitation, process mapping, and bridging tech-business gaps to de-risk delivery.
Backlog grooming, prioritisation frameworks, stakeholder alignment, and go-to-market planning.
Understanding of front-end stacks, data flows, and analytics—enough to speak dev, ship faster, and measure impact.
Clear narratives for decks, workshops, and stakeholder buy-in—because great ideas still need great packaging.
